The Next Generation of POPs: PBDEs and Lindane Featured

"Keep the Promise, Eliminate POPs!" Campaign's Report prepared for the First Conference of Parties to Stockholm Convention held in May 2005 based on the results of global monitoring of Persistent Organic Pollutants in free range chicken eggs organized by International POPs Elimination Network (IPEN) and coordinated by Arnika Association. This report summarizes results of measurements of brominated flame retardants (PBDEs and hexabromocyclododecane), and lindane plus related hexachlorocyclohexane beta isomer in free range chicken eggs from 16 countries, 4 continents.
